The Legacy of President Obama will be...

Serious question. If you had asked me take a guess 8 years ago, I would have guessed race relations. Clearly that is not the end result of his term. As a lifelong resident of the South, I can say that race relations are the worst I’ve ever seen. Healthcare? Well, Obamacare is a disaster. How about men going to the girls restroom, well no. World peace/stability? Not even. Syria anyone? Economy? Uh, can you say $20 Trillion in debt.

I’ve reflected upon this and it appears to me his legacy will be…

the creation and success of Donald Trump.

What do think his legacy will be?

The Affirmative Action Hire.

Pretty much all he did was show up, be black, go on vacation, focus on BS, not handle actual issues, and ram an intrusive, overbearing Healthcare Act down our throats that benefitted no one.

In 100 years he will be a minor footnote. An asterisk.

He really has no legacy. He set race relations back almost 100 years and was really, really weak.

In the words of Sethi:

Let the name of [Obama] be stricken from every book and tablet, stricken from all pylons and obelisks, stricken from every monument of [America] Let the name of [Obama] be unheard and unspoken, erased from the memory of men for all time.

…erased within 100 days of the next administration.

Obamas legacy will the how easy he fooled the idiot voters.

Legacy of who?

Seriously, he couldn’t even pass any significant gun control.

Maybe the trade deals… or shooting bin Laden in the face, himself. I really can’t think of anything significant he did at all.

Hussein Obama’s legacy will be as follows (once he is thoroughly investigated, charged, prosecuted, convicted and sentenced to a just fate):
Muslim infiltrator, traitor, race baiting Black supremacist who weakened America, helped ISIS Turkey the Muslim Brotherhood at the behest of the Saudis. Undermined the Constitution at every turn, and successfully (with the help of the media) got millions of whites and non-Muslim low information citizens to vote for him and directly against their interests. Imported tens of millions of his Muslim brethren (the enemy of the people of the USA) as well as tens of millions of illegals to bleed the country dry and to vote for his corrupt and criminal party.

.

Well…it ain’t over yet. He has plenty of time to screw things up some more.
I hope Donny addresses everyone in a true State of the Union real quick to let us know how bad things really are.

I don’t envy Trump trying to clean things up in a semi painless manner. I think we’re all gonna suffer somehow.

.

Amazingly enough we are in perfect agreement.

Obamacare will be scuttled now that we have Republican majority in House and Senate. Every EO will be removed with the stroke of a pen. Carter will have had a more lasting legacy. The only real thing Obama did was manage to restart a Cold War with Russia.

The only beneficial thing Obama did was destroy Hillary’s chances of getting elected. Just as McCain had nothing more to offer than “4 more years of the same crap that hasn’t worked for 8”, Hillary had nothing new to offer except four more years of the same.

That our first black (half anyway) President who was elected mostly due to the novelty of his race failed horribly to improve race relations and instead took a partisan position on the issue that returned us to 1960s levels of discontent is amazing. If ever there was an opportunity to get everyone on the same page this was it, and in 8 years he did nothing meaningful. The damn Cosby show did more to improve race relations than Obama ever did.

Thankfully the Bill Ayers experiment has come to a conclusion and America isn’t burning.

If he’s willing to do the job, I’m willing to do my part. We can start fixing it now when it’s really bad, or wait till it’s a lot worse. Might as well start fixing it now.

His legacy should be dust. Luckily, he didnt do much with his 8 years that cant be fixed with a republican POTUS and majority in both sides of congress.

Absolutely. And the American electorate has so affirmed.

I’m less optimistic…I’m deep with in blue libtard land, and people are literally crying about Trump’s win. If anything, Obama has gotten the FSA types feeling empowered to make their whining heard such that they feel significant, and entitled to have things changed in their favor. People are already talking about enduring 4 years of misery, but vow to never again be inactive politically. They swear Trump is a 4 and out speed bump to their grand schemes. Thing is, I thing some of them are serious…at least serious enough to mobilize like good little sheep when the puppet masters start stirring the pot during the next election cycle. Meanwhile, I feel that many of us are taking this vicotry for granted- do you really think our values, gun rights, hard earned savings are safe now that Zero is on the way out and Cankles defeated?

The Liberal Media will say he was the President that was too soon for a great portion of the unwashed masses. In doing so his failures will be ignored and forgiven. He will be another, “the first”, which is at best, mildly interesting and will be even less so to future generations.

His immediate legacy will carry no more and no less weight than any other perfunctory media reporting and it will be just as scripted. His legacy du jour. Pick a media genre.

His historic legacy, say several generations out. He will be largely insignificant for anything beyond “the first”.

That is his personal legacy of accomplishment as I believe it will be and as I see it.

With respect to the United States of America and the evolution of the Presidency. I believe his time and his place will represent and apex where history will show America was in a very strong state of change. It’s not a Rubicon, it’s not Obama, it’s not Trump. His legacy will be that America elected “the first” as it was in an internal state of change it was not fully aware of.

When he came into office The USA realized something was happening. When he left office The USA knew something was happening. Ironically his legacy will not be anything he did, be it right or wrong. It will be that he was a certain “first black man” in the USA at a special time in the life of the USA.

That’s not exactly insignificant but also not an accomplishment of an individual man. He will be remembered as “the first” when the Troubled Giant was sorting itself out.

When you have to plead with people for eight years to dig what you are handing out, no matter how abstract it may seem, you are not the real deal. A genius can go unnoticed but when one is in the limelight for eight years and everyone is saying … this is not working for us. Well, there is your legacy.

In the light Obama is ordinary at best. In the shadows he is certainly no genius.

Well ok… he inspired everyone that cared to know, how to build a custom AR-15 and how to shop for good prices, then build a Trust to keep it in. I’m guessing that’s not what you meant though.

what will be written ? guess it depends if we keep the conservative rule or not !!! if libs destroy us then he will go down as the greatest person in history

Erased in the first 30 days of Trump Presidency.

Greatest firearms salesman EVER!!!

And that is about it… Best part is that was not what he was trying.

Careful with that axe Eugene… don’t under estimate 50% of the population regardless of their 1:1 significance in your reality. You might personally be able to take out 10:1, but you are less likely to be the squeaky wheel.

I’m with you but I still have not heard the fat lady sing, I have not had a sword handed to me in surrender. You have to realize the Liberals don’t hold dear their failures. They build another ant hill or hive of honey. They care less that Hillary is gone then we do. They are building a new Hillary as we sleep and not blinking an eye over her being gone. Their ideal is still ever present in their minds. Perhaps even more so. Granted our political system is in our favor but we certainly don’t want to become the British of the 1700’s. People is people.

I have seen the Blue Line continually attacked and now I see the White Line under attack. The Bill Ayres experiment got Trump elected. All concepts have unintended consequences. If there was ever a champion rising out of chaos it was Trump. He co-opted the concept because the Republicans were blind to the opportunity.

Something else has to happen. 50/50 is not good odds.

The legacy of President Obama will be that he was the first black President. Period.

Oh I didn’t mean we won and to spike the ball and dance in the end zone. This particular chapter of the Bill Ayers experiment is over and our country isn’t as devastated as it could be. Everyone involved basically got handed their walking papers.

But I understand that Pelosi, Boxer and Reid still hold office and we still face threats.
