It has to do with whether or not any person has a green mohawk, and/or face piercings and tattoos, to which simple practical reason can be applied to establish the person as emotionally and/or psychologically immature or damaged, or perhaps a self-centered narcissist and exhibitionist, someone who makes breathtakingly stupid decisions, and on and on.

Whether you like it or not, whether you agree with it or not, it is a fact that “body modification” is simply nothing other than self-mutilation. And self-mutilation always, 100% of the time, means the person is not mentally or emotionally well.

Except, and this is somewhat important, you’re wrong. While there are lots of reasons people get tattoos, the ones I listed are some of them. Thus, “not only, but also” applies here, whereas the pop psychology of liberal rags is just liberal hate, bigotry and prejudice.
So, to recapitulate:
You paid money to someone to inflict pain and scar your body because of a movie, a myth, a period in your life of emotional and psychological pain, for admittedly no reason whatsoever, and to make your body “more beautiful”.
Tell me again how that is not somehow emotionally or psychologically immature and/or damaged, (and even self-obsessed and narcissistic concerning the last one)?
And spending all that money so you can “express” yourself was for you more important than putting that money aside for your child’s college education?

Actually sounds like a plan. I avoid the weirdo looking people as a basic principal. If past experience holds this mean I never interact with 75% of the fucked in the head people who are as detached from reality and restraint as their appearance suggests.
This is at a cost of never taking the time to get to know the other 25% who are basically decent and good people but either have terrible judgement or they are horrible fashion victims.
