Yes so don’t make it worse.
If the democrat party could even be remotely described as ‘loyal opposition’ then preserving the legislative filibuster would make sense. Unfortunately, that’s no longer the case. The filibuster is now weaponized by democrat socialists and marxists at every opportunity to defund and destroy America while some Washington republicans pretend to take a principled position doing little but watching it happen.
Take a serious look at the anti-America kooks that democrats are unapologetically supporting. The democrat party is not going to heal itself. Their aim is to drag America down an unrecoverable socialist/marxist shithole.
And when we are done with this lets gets some accountability from Judges.
They’ve become either virrulantly far left and /or are releasing hardened Crimminals back in to Society without accountability
If it requires nuking the filibuster, so be it. That said, is there enough time to implement the Save America Act for the midterms? Democrats will surely attempt to get the courts to stop implementation while litigating. So… republicans nuke the filibuster, get nothing accomplished, then hand a filibuster-free senate over to a democrat majority after the midterms. 
That’s what I’m afraid of, they get no more filibuster and we get nothing. I bet our team is on average younger than their team so can better maintain a Full Jimmy Stewart, so make them take the floor seems best approach.
