Raven Concealment Vanguard 2 Holster For Glocks

Just got mine in the mail - holy crap this thing works (so far).

It’s not made of much plastic so there’s very little other than your pistol in your waistband. I like that.

Hugs the pistol close to your body. I like that.

One holster fits all 9mm/.40 S&W/.357 Sig frame pistols. I like that.

We’ll have to see how this shakes out, but it looks promising.

Just got mine today and took it to the range and am wearing it now, it’s great!!

That’s good to hear that they’re shipping. Hopefully mine will be here soon.

Mine shipped today.

I got mine in the mail today as well. Really looking forward to trying it out. I’ve done a few dry draws, and so far it look pretty promising.

Mine has shipped.:dance3:

Is there a video out on the proper use of this holster? I still don’t get it.

Mine shipped on Friday. I wasn’t expecting it to ship until yesterday, so I was pleasantly surprised. I got it in the mail yesterday and so far, I like it a lot. It’s a lot more comfortable than I was expecting. I haven’t worn it a whole lot yet, obviously, but I’m really looking forward to it…

Got mine yesterday, and so far, I’m really liking it. AIWB is a completely new method of carry for me, so I’m still getting used to that, but the holster works exactly as advertised. I first thought having an exposed front sight blade would poke, or cause snagging on clothing, but that hasn’t been the case at all thus far.
Definitely a must have item for days you want minimum bulk!

I got mine in the mail yesterday as well. I’ve had a chance to wear it around a bit and practice. I’m still not at a point where I’ll wear it out of the house, but soon will be.

One negative I have encountered is that when using it with a baby Glock (G33 in this case) the bottom of the holster pokes into me. This is the part where the lanyard would go. I think this is a problem related to the short barrel as a compact or full size Glock would protrude past the bottom of the holster. I’m going to keep working with it, but so far the minimal nature is a huge plus.

I just wore mine through part of Southnarc’s ECQC this past weekend and it did it’s job superbly. Comfortable, and easy to use. I will also be using it this next weekend when I am teaching a combatives/BJJ seminar. I have done it in past seminars where I wore it the entire time and it has never failed once. Comfortable to grapple in, and holds the pistol securely.

I love this holster.

Since I have an M&P 9c, I’m really looking forward to the release of a model for the M&P.

Mine’s enroute. I can’t wait, it’s looking like it will be perfect for my day to day carry.

I am having a lot of trouble opening the button…Only way I can open it is pry it.

Just sit in front of the TV and do 20-40 snappings and unsnappings to break it in. The one way buttons are always unbelievably tight for me. I’ve had to use flat head screw drivers to get them off sometimes. They break in very quickly.

Am I the only one who finds it funny that someone with the name of Glockmaster owns an M&P? :jester:

Sorry, someone had to say it…lol!

Anyways, mine is getting here today. Of course, the day I got my shipping notice was the same day I had an emergency appendectomy. Appendix or no, I think that 1 or 2 o’clock carry is the way to go, and really look forward to trying it out.

I really like the idea of a low profile simple holster for aiwb but on the same token, I’m not too keen on the idea of having to remove the vanguard from my waistband in order to reholster my weapon.

You could reholster it with out removing it… but that would be really stupid/dangerous.

Mine came in the other day and I’ve been wearing it at 3 o’clock, and I find it pretty comfortable. I can wear it appendix with my 19, but it’s a bit much for me right now to carry my 17 AIWB.

I’ve reholstered into it plenty… just got to be extra careful when doing it… as you should be anyway when you shove a loaded gun in your pants, regardless of the holster design.

Of all the stupid things people do with firearms, reholstering into the VG2 carefully doesn’t get me that excited anymore.
