Too bad we don’t have a President with the cajones to tell the Mexicans not to knock the RKBA till they’ve tried it. Maybe with an armed citizenry and a national “Kill a Drug Bandito” Day they might be in a happier place right now.
I used to travel in Mexico quite a bit, as much as monthly. I won’t go there at all now. It is too dangerous and I refuse to give them my $. I really want to hike Copper Canyon, but I won’t go.
Honestly, you would have to be loco to do much wandering around in Mexico right now. I read a recent article that explained that there were more violent deaths last year in Juarez (the Mexican city that borders El Paso) than there were in Afghanistan.
And the reason that POTUS can’t veto the Second Amendment is because this place isn’t Mexico, or any other third world shithole. How’s that for a sound bite, Mr. Reporter?
it was nice… i was impressed. he said basically all the right things- we need proper enforcement, not new laws; that the second amendment is for “protection” and “safety” and that it DOES these things; etc.
indeed… and watching it a second time, with how scattered and random his words were, it was obvious he was just making it up as he went.
Someone was telling me that we ought to require everybody learn spanish in school. I told them that was a bad idea, because spanish is the language of failure.
That was actually implemented under Carter. It was the only class I ever intentionally failed. I refused to even correctly use what Spanish I already knew.
