OK two different pics here. Someone here give me the correlation between third world gunman and the orange vest. Fashion statement/do they believe its some type of ballistics vest? Hell of a color to wear in combat! Whatever the answer thats just funny stuff.

During the Liberian civil war, you had various factions/gangs/militias that would set themselves apart by wearing different things.
You had kids wearing masks, women’s dresses and wigs, life jackets, neck ties, all kinds of things.
This being Africa, and mostly kids, a lot of it was believed to make them invincible. That didn’t always work.

I wish all the bad guys around the world wore life jackets or roadguard vests. That would make target identification a heck of a lot easier. I would also wager that they provide excellent contrast in low-light conditions when using Iron Sights.
