I’m pretty sure I’ve seen this guy on our south side of town 
I am no doctor, but judging by the bright red color of his blood, I’d speculate that he was hit in his brachial artery. If he didn’t get some quality medical care shortly thereafter, I would expect that this gentleman is no longer with us.
There was a thread on Arfcom a few years back about the Liberian war, and one of the guys who was a Marine stationed there posted a few pics from his point of view…

I keep observing all these photographs and actually feel pity. Pity for these kids. They basically have no hope for a future whatsoever. And because of their upbringing or lack thereof, they are raised in this culture of violence,drugs, rape,etc. Later on they do piss off the wrong person and We have to go over there and kill them. Honestly I don’t see any hope for much of Africa.

as funny as the get ups might be, it’s so sad to think that something like that would actually boost their morale. We have kids who dress like that in the states cause they think it’s “cool” these kids wear it cause it’s all they have. Sad sad sad.
