unless you’re an operator of some kind or varmint sniper, there is no need to paint your rifle. truth is that 95% of the civilian AR owners are paper punchers. does not matter if you shoot 10 rounds per month or 10,000. now some look very cool painted up, but i could never bring myself to do such a thing.

You don’t need to be some sort of “operator” or varmint hunter to paint your rifle.

I own an AR because I feel that I have an obligation as as adult citizen to be prepared to kill people and break shit in defense of my home, my neighbors, and my country. Just because it isn’t likely that I’ll need to so doesn’t mean I won’t prepare as best I can.

I have some paper-punching and plinking rifles, and no, I don’t paint them.
