I used these to zero my aimpoint at the range last week a and I must say thank you sir.
Are the 25/100 targets still available for download? Can’t get to them via the link.
Correction: I can’t get to any of them via mobile.
It looks like an issue with the tapatalk app… I’m getting an error as well when attempting to open the link with the latest version of the app.
It works through my Galaxy S4 using the Chrome browser as well as any other tablet or computer I’ve used.
You can also download the targets from here:
Good Stuff, Thanks
Help me out here guys.
Why do you need a special target to zero a rifle with a red dot at 25 yards?
Put a piece of paper up and draw a circle on it. Shoot at it and adjust until you are hitting it dead on.
I think some people make this kind of thing way, way more complicated than it needs to be.
You wouldn’t. The target I used allowed me to zero FOR 100 AT 25…
The 25 yard targets will yield either a 50 yard or a 100 yard zero (shooter’s choice) when access to a short range is their only option. These targets were made to help those out who can’t get regular access to a longer range, but still want to run a 50 or 100 yard zero on their weapon. Also, the adjustment reference grid makes it dead simple to adjust your optic, saving ammunition and time. Just adjust your optic the amount of clicks the target tells you and I guarantee it will be there.
Not to mention printing these before you head out to the range is not that complicated.
Wow that sweet…Thanks ![]()
Thanks!
These are great! Exactly what I’ve been looking for. Thanks!
Had some hosting issues with the target files. Everything should be back up now.
Quick question regarding the 25/100m target. Is it calibrated for absolute or lower 1/3 mounts? I’m guessing absolute, if so how much would they be off?

Awesome! I was just looking for some of these. Thank you!
The targets were calibrated for a lower 1/3 co-witness. However, the difference between the two is negligible and you will not really notice the difference. I have used these with the same results for both an Aimpoint running a lower 1/3 and an EOTech running an absolute co-witness.
Again, this is why I state to verify the zero at the intended zero range once you have the chance.
Exactly. I used these targets over the weekend as a starting point to zero an h1 with lower 1/3 mount and another rifle with a 1-4x scope. I was 2-3" high when confirming at 100 with both rifles so thought maybe mount height played a role.

OP, used your target today. It works, thanks! (disregard those stray shots. let’s blame … the wind … ;))
Using these targets at the indoor range made it a lot quicker getting the dope at actual distances later. No need to walk out to the targets all the time to get the initial zero. Thanks to the OP.
Ok question. When I view the PDF file on 100% actual size on my computer, the target is bigger than what is printed out on the 8.5x11 paper. Confusing me as to which one is wrong. I measured the grids on the printed target and they are just a c-hair under .5x.5 squares so I am guessing it’s correct. Just trying to make sure.
You’re good to go as long as the grid is 0.50". Some printers will cut off portions of the target when it is scaled correctly due to the actual print area being different between printers. My printer at home will print these at 100% with no cut off. However, my printer at work will cut a portion of the target off at 100% scaling.
Glad I found this I have a crap load of redo dots to zero.
