WTT my DD M4 10.0 for your 9.0 or 7.0

I have a very new hardly used M4 10.0 handguard I’d like to trade for a 9.0.

I can send the tube to you beforehand for inspection and installation and then you can send me your tube so you won’t be without a handguard for long.

I’ve hardly used my upper with the 10.0 and have found I don’t like the little stub of a barrel I’ve got sticking out. I’d like a 9.0.

ETA: I’ll also trade for a 7.0.

Is this a DD Lite or regular M4 DD handguard? I think I recall you using a 10.0 M4 DD on your SBR but I could be wrong. If it is a DD Lite I think I may be willing to trade you. I could use the extra space to push my light mount out a hair more.

This is a regular DD M4 10.0, not the Lite version.

I’ve also received emails about trading for other systems. I was hoping to just trade tubes to avoid a lot of hassle for both parties i.e. no torque wrenches needed to swap a tube.

Nope, not even close, sorry.

I am now open to trading for a DD 7.0…

ETA: that first comment was only because they aren’t close enough to just swap the tubes, I wasn’t comparing quality or anything.

Bump- I’m still looking for a 9" DD.

Not to hijack, but why don’t you just cut your tube? I did it to one I had with a good hacksaw, a dremel and some aluma-hyde.

Well, the alumihyde will come off with the KAC panels I like to swap around and rearrange at times.

I cut a 12.0FSPM and it looks great now- stick and jay at DD actually like the idea- this was last summer. Jay wanted to see it first hand so I sent it to him. He refinished it and laser engraved it as it hadn’t had any of the T markings before.

You can’t cut the 10 down to a 7 or 9 inch anywhere where you won’t cut through lightening holes. I don’t need that.

I figured it would be a benefit to someone else who wants a 10. They couldn’t just add an inch or three to theirs so…

Rgr. I didn’t look at the lightening holes. The one I cut was a 12 FSPM also but just to get rid of the funky part. Well then, <hijack mode off> and one more free bump!
