No kidding. An SS direct thread can really shouldn’t cost very much anymore. I get the more elaborate mounts/designs and 3D print stuff, but a basic can should be a $300 max deal.

These look like they’re thread together cans similar to the Solvent trap kits, but that doesn’t suppress any less.

It’s not the stamp, it’s the Registry and the dog-murdering cocksmokers with it.

Eh… maybe someday they’ll get the cans out of the NFA nonsense. But the current process is massively better than when I bought my first AAC can.

I have a little more suppressor experience and better understanding what I am seeing/hearing.

On that note, Witt’s flash hider front cap may work fairly well, at least on an 18" using Federal M193. I believe what I was chalking up simply as the flash hider not working was actually due to oxygen in the can burning off with follow up shots having little to no flash and comparable to using decent quality flash hiders. I didn’t realize first round pop is also a thing with centerfire cans.
