If you are mil or leo you can get discounted pricing from SB USA.
The weakening Euro would suggest that prices should drop for all European manufactured goods.
Whether distributors pass that on to you is the issue in doubt.
I haven’t seen nearly enough fluctation on the Euro rate to really translate into retail price adjustments over the long term, and as stated, most professionals aren’t going to pay full MSRP, anyway.
I spent most of the past decade abroad, and most of it in Germany. Short Dots are probably always going to cost well over $2k in the United States, but the great irony here is that we’re still getting them far cheaper than the Germans can.
Bottom line? Most German manufacturers hedge their bets against currency fluctations by keeping things relatively stable (i.e. despite the market), so don’t look for steep discounting on S&B anytime soon.

I love the scope, it’s terrific with my AN/PVS-22, but I couldn’t justify $800 more than my USO SN-3 3.2-17X44. Then I bought a USO SN-3 1.8-10X37 with the same options, and almost as much money!
