I’m about to order a Wilderness 5-stitch belt but have a question on the sizing. I followed the instructions on their website, and measured both ways, and came up with 33". Basically my question is how much extra material is there on a 5-stitch belt from the the point where the belt folds over at buckle? I don’t want to order a belt that is too long and then the extra get in the way of my holster.

It won’t if you follow their sizing instructions. It gives you a 2 inch give or take for future increases/decreases in girth :sarcastic:
I used a cloth measuring tape and walked through the sizing with a CS rep on the phone. Belts came in so big that the thick parts of the belt meet at the buckle before its close to tight. Both of them will have to go back 
On yourself? or did you measure a belt you already use from buckle tip to hole as suggested by the website sizing instructions.
If you order a 33" belt then the belt will measure 33" fully closed. If you measured 33" with your firearm on then you may not be able to tighten the belt any more after you remove your firearm. If there is too much slack then you can cut some off. You can also reverse the direction that you put on your belt so the slack is on the opposite side that you carry on. On average there was about 10" of slack but my waist is bigger than 33". My experience is based on the owning their polymer lined belts.
I ordered my jean size and it fits perfectly. Great belt too.
I wear size 33 jeans and ordered a Wilderness 5stitch size 33. The belt fits fine with 3-in slack. With a single Comptac holster and two kydex mag holder it still fits ok and the velcro had about 3/4-in on the fuzz.
However, when I loaded 4 mag holders and a holster, the added items took all the slack and the velcro no longer attaches to the fuzz.
I’m going to get a size 36 belt so that I can wear full comp gear and have it secured by velcro.
So based of of this would you say that I should get the 33?
BTW, I wear a 29" jeans.
Also, from where the belt folds over the buckle, how much extra material is there?
And if it helps I’ll be using it with a leather IWB holster and a P30.

On myself, as directed(and coached) by the CS rep that I was on the phone with…
I wear a size 31 pants and bought a size 34 belt, but it was the plastic reinforced wildness. The fuzz is completely covered by the velcro.
I usually get 2" more than my pant size.
Sorry to bring this old thread back from the dead, but I had a question regarding sizing. Following their instructions, I got measured 33" for normal every day wear, and 34" with an IWB holster.
If I order a 33" belt, will there be enough extra velcro to cover the days I wear an IWB? Or should I just order a 34"?
