Doing some googling and found a thread on another forum and the guy was curious about his aimpoint from Botach. He called aimpoint and they verified it was real and also told him Botach was one of thier largest dealers. So hopefully all is good, I sure dont want to be stuck with a $400 fake.
I have heard many a great things about botach. Of course the Internet is always the best place to find a good and bad voice about every company that’s out there.
It’s real aimpoint. They couldn’t legally sell them as aimpoint if they weren’t. Probably bought as bulk like Leo and .mil does.
If it’s fake I will just have to place it on the shelf with my 25 dollar rolex my great uncle left me in his will. I am not sure what I feel worse about… him dying thinking it was real or me for holding on to that pos.

I ordered a T-1 with a Larue mount from Smartgunner.com on 1/31/10 it arrived yesterday. $608 with free shipping. I noticed he increased his price a little since I ordered. The shipping seemed a little slow, but the price was right.
It came with both the factory mount and the Larue mount.
Anyone got a deal on the H1 and Larue mount combo?
Im looking to spend some tax money.
Ive heard the T1 and H1 are built the exact same way and the H1 is under rated as far as water proofing depth, tho that could just be internet hype.
The main difference is the T1 is NV compatible and the H1 is not.
Got my H-1 From Manventure. smooth fast and cheap. They are G.T.G.
They are the cheapest I found and I looked hard. Its cheaper to buy the optic from them and the mount from Larue then to get the whole combo from Larue.
There was athread on them on TOS and as a result a bunch of people bought from them and in the span of a week their price went up about 7-10%. It was also right around the time of the Aimpoint price increase as well. They are still lower then the 2010 Aimpoint dealer pricelist…
The Botach deal seems to be very good. This may be a dumb question, but doesn’t the H1 just attach to your gun…is there really need for a mount?
yes, but many want a quick release mount that holds zero.
Thanks, you just saved me 93 bucks! I ordered the T1&Scope Ring Mounting package for $542 and the Magpul MS2&ASAP Package and some spare batteries for the T1. Subtotal was $530 for all that after the code! I don’t need the scope ring mount but it was way cheaper with it!
I still have not gotten my H-1 or my magnifier from Botach yet. My larue mounts have been here for two weeks now. Hope I get the optics soon. Using the mounts as a paper weight right now…
lens pen is a trijicon product and does not come with aimpoint products
I received mine from Botach sometime last week. The T1 was on backorder so I ordered the H1 package with KZ Mount. It was $400 after the CPF code…sold the KZ Mount for $40 so I ended up paying $360 for it, added a Larue mount for $100 and stayed well below $500 for everything.
Buy from Grant or LaRue. You can “trust” both of them. I had a defective T-1 and LaRue replaced it for me without me having to go thru Aimpoint and all I had to do was fill out the return form and no questions or BS. I firmly believe you would get the same service from Grant.
If you “sometimes” pay a “few” bucks more to do business with a reputable company with strong integrity over the save a “few” bucks with fly-by-night or high volume (your just a number to them) outfits… doing business with the good guys I promise you it will pay dividends in the long run. Keep the good guys in business;)
How long did it take to get it from Botach, and are you happy with them? I have heard some HORROR stories about them.
