The essential difference between the two optics is the degree of waterproofing. The ADM mounts are very nice.
Botach tactical has the h-1 with kz mount for $470something. Doubt the mount returns to zero, but still a great deal. Look for the botach rep on m4c… he seems helpful.

There’s deals to be made on this things for sure. I have seen them as low as 400 free shipping and mount. The mounts are like KZs or Samsons, but still. Next time I see them really cheap I am getting 5 or 6 waiting a week and then heading over to ebay with them.
I’ve ordered a bit from them (Burris scope, etc) and they shipped quickly & price was great. No probs, other than the slightly homoerotic name.
I ordered the H1 special with the KZ mount Monday from Botach. I popped for 2nd day UPS Air delivery, so I emailed Dan to make sure it would go out quickly.
He emailed me back a short time later to say he had packed it himself and Botach emailed a confirmation that day as well. It got here today, very well packaged and protected. The KZ mount looks surprisingly sturdy, but I’ll have to compare it to the Daniel Defense mount I ordered from BCM Monday (which apparently shipped today) when it gets here.
Oh, the best part: With the 10% online coupon they have on their website, the grand total with 2nd Day Air was $444.55! Dan rocks and I couldn’t be happier! 
I ordered the H1 with KZ mount from Botach also except I used the %15 off coupon. Mine total was $425.79 with 2nd day air, ordered monday and I got it today. The KZ mount does look to be of good quality, going to run a couple of 100 rounds through it tomorrow and see how it holds. I am probably going to go to the DD mount though.

Man that is such BS I ordered an H1 through botach last week. They told me its on back order. I got it with out the mount just the optic. I have heard things about Botach but their prices are so good I just couldn’t turn away.
Just out of interest… how did the H1 come??? Does it look like its in new condition and up to spec?
My H1 was NIW, as was the mount. email Dan and he should be able to get you an answer. I’m going to remount mine with the DD mount tomorrow. If he doesn’t get your mount and you want the KZ, shoot me a PM.
I ended up ordering the mount straight from Larue. If I recall the reason I didn’t get the order was because I also ordered a x3 mag and that, not the optic, is back ordered… In botach’s defense.
I think the reason for the price of the combo is because these look to be like an OEM part instead of retail part. That might be the reason that if you ordered just the scope it was on back order…2 diffrent part numbers so to say. I think the combo is actually cheaper than the scope alone too.
My H-1 combo from Botac was NOT an ‘in the box’ unit. It was in a generic white bubblewrap envelope w/ the manual, mount, torx thingy & bikini cover thing. No box, no lenspen.
I am not complaining on the price, just woulda been nice of them to disclose this is OEM packaging & not in retail box & not w/ all parts

I can only assume this is not a ‘gray market’ unit or chinese knock off. Maybe I’ll email Aimpoint in the morning to have them run the serial #.
It seems to work fine. I upgraged to an ARMS mount tho. I’ll be selling my KZ one on here if interested.

I started by pricing out the combo and then just told them to take the amount of the mount off, and to my surprise they did.
Please do and let me know what Aimpoint says. I am pretty sure this is the real deal because of the laser engraving,the way it is done I should say, but if someone calls it would surely clear everything up.
Agent556, how much did your total come to with trying to purchase the combo and then taking the mount off?
Ok… PLEASE let me know ASAP if that thing is legit or not. If so I am going to cancel my order with botach. I would rather spend the extra 200 bucks to get a legit Aimpoint. I can’t take the chance of operating with a knock off. My employer would have my head for sure.
Mine certainly looks like the real deal. I doubt that a company that’s been around as long as Botach would get taken on fakepoints. I’m sure their rep here can verify this.
