Where can I get that white plate that this upper and lower are connected to?

Where can I get that white plate that this upper and lower are connected to?

I believe that DPMS carries it. Brownells has a similar version.
Thank you very much.
rezin23, Where did you find that picture in your post? I tried finding that plate/block on the DPMS website but no luck. I tried to find it at Brownell’s but couldn’t come up with a name to describe it in their search engine. Tried "upper/lower receiver block"on Google and all I could find are vise blocks that did not look like what you found.Any luck finding it?
I think it’s called the “Claw.” Of course I stand to be corrected.
Bravo Company and Rainier Arms has them, I believe.
Not being facetious, I don’t get what it does. What would be the advantage of mounting a dissassembled rifle in this manner?
Don’t think the lower’s attached. Looks to be a typical upper receiver action vice block.
The picture shows both receivers pinned to the block. Thought it might be a convenient way to breakdown a carbine and stow it in a shorter case for transport and/or storage.
It’s designed to allow you to mount an upper receiver in a vise so you can work on it. Some uppers such as the MUR won’t fit in a standard clamshell type block.
That particular model in the photo doesn’t look like the DPMS Panther Claw to me.
Looking closer it does appear different.
It could be this machined down to accept the lower receiver. Purpose? Maybe to keep the components separated during transport??
DPMS makes the “Flipper” action block which allows an AR15 upper to be pinned to one side and a lower to be pinned to the other.
Why would one need to pin a lower?
Looks like the DPMS flipper inserts into the magazine well, not pinned on the lower.
I found it on silencertalk, I have not found it yet. The purpose of this is so that you can break down your upper and lower, and then store them compactly in a backpack ect. and not have them bumping around.
Honestly, not trying to start an argument. But if the lower is truly “pinned” to the block, I’d like to know why and how. Looking at the pic, it appears to just be laying on the block.
It’s attached with the take down pins.
So you can color in the spider on your SPIKES lower of course. DUH!
Perhaps the lower is attached by the mag catch.
