Where are we selling guns these days?

Never sold a gun online. Where have you sold online and had good experiences?

Gun Broker has gotten me higher prices than I anticipated when selling used firearms, around 8 to date. Auction mode, $1 to start. My situation is probably unusual as I have an FFL so I save on the transfer. Its a bit of a pain to set up an acct but its worked for me, even after their commissions.

Have heard good things about a free site called GAFSHUB but no personal experience there.

Never have.

If I was going to get rid of some guns via the Net instead of in person at LGS, I’d probably first check Bud’s Gun Shop. They purchase used guns from private sellers over the Net. My guess is I could get a few more bucks selling to a private party via the Net (GB, gun forum listings and all that) but not interested.

Good to know, thanx. Will investigate.

Always done private sales in the past, but interested to see what others are doing these days. I don’t tend to buy or sell much these days.

I usually only get rid of guns on trade. I don’t get as much for them but also don’t experience the ass pain of selling them individually.

Been awhile since I traded anything though. Kind of past that point in life, I’m sure you understand how they just get new stable mates and no one goes away. LOL.

If you do a private sell, get a bill of sale. It is a hassle when the FBI tracks you down from your 4473 and you have to explain it leaving your hands after it ends up passing a few hands 3 states over.

It’s been gun shows last few years.
Sold one to a gun store, too.

I have regretted letting a Couple of Pistols get away, A Custom Ruger .Stainless Security Six 357 that a TABC Agent sold me, just couldn’t be replaced again. It had been tuned and gone over by Profeesionals, I sold it for $400.00 and the Guy later told me I ripped him off.

You aint kidding there! My will to live fell off a cliff rapidly on setting up an account and actually listing something to sell.

I used r/gunaccessoriesforsale religiously for years. When Reddit shut down, I got in fairly early to GAFSHub. I think I’ve only bought one thing so far, but the site is good, and they seem to be continuing the good job monitoring of feedback and scammers.

I have also used TacSwap for years.

Honestly, I think selling a gun may be one of the safest things to sell, because it has to go to a third party.

I have not used personally, but shipmygun appears to work well for people. I almost made a sale on TacSwap, and that’s what I would have used to ship.

I’ve bought in gunbroker. Usually not the cheapest. I didn’t like their shipping system, personally; they mailed to a different FFL than the one I selected.

Good intel, thanx.

I hadn’t used GB in a while and went to list my SA-35. Good Grief. I finally verified my back account and can get the gun listed tonight. I need to start purging my safe a bit and get rid of the 9mms I don’t shoot.

I’m still waiting for bank account approval to list a dang pistol, which is a mint condition Wilson SFT9.

My amount hit this morning. I think I initiated it on Monday afternoon.

If you do not want the hassle of listing the surplus items, you can always just give them away to your good buddies here at M4
