What groups are there, and how do you join one?

I am not a member of public groups either - I dont think we set it up.
Currently there aren’t any public groups defined. It’s just a way to create different “clubs” if you will. You can give certain groups access to certain forums, or send emails to members of a particular group, etc.
Right now it’s just a free for all 
I only use them for my Moderators, Site supporters, and sponsors on my site.
Like admin said its easy to email and stuff.
