I am looking for a second BCG for my MWS. This one will be used with the Noveske 6.5 CM Barrel. Anyone have any suggestions since LMT is not offering their BCG yet? I have heard it will work fine with AR10 and DPMS style. I am just looking for a high quality option. Thanks!
Maybe an OBR/Predatar bolt will fit.
I would wait until after SHOT. If that’s when they are going to roll out the barrels then they will most certainly be offering the separate bolts and BCG’s. The LMT BCG is a very high quality product, for me its worth the wait.
I have been wondering the same thing. I almost pulled the trigger on a jp bolt and noveske 6.5 barrel but decided to wait to see what’s available.
I really hope lmt offers their own bolt/bcg in the future.
Doesn’t the 6.5 CM use a use the same bolt as the .308? I thought the appeal of the LMT system was the ability to change barrels and be done.

No, not always. Just like on the 6.8 you need to change bolt, barrel and mags… Not sure what will be needed on 6.5 or .260 but I’m sure after SHOT we will have a good handle on things to come from LMT…
6.5CM and .260 Rem use the same bolt as a .308, they are simply necked down for the smaller bullet. A new bolt is not needed, but I would like to purchase one simply to have as a spare.
Also, LMT has already released the .260 barrels, and maybe the 6.5CM but I’m not sure on it. I have exchanged phone calls several times and you can order a .260 20" now.
