I’m considering a set of Warren Tactical Sights for the Glock 34. I have two questions…
What is the rear notch width? I can only seem to find the width data on the Warren website for the Sevigny sights. I’m using Glock factory night sights now and I’d prefer a wider rear notch.
What kind of sight picture are these sights designed for? (i.e. six o’clock hold, POA/POI, etc.) I’ve been a ‘shoot the dot’ shooter for a while now - not sure if that’ll work with these sights.
I’m planning on a Tritium front sight and a ‘straight eight’ style rear.
Rear sight notch is .150 on my G19 they shoot POA/POI for me but I don’t shoot past 10 yards. I’ve read that at 25 yards the .215 becomes 6 o’clock hold.
My Sevigny carry rear is .150. I’ve got Warren tactical sets on two glocks and Warren Sevigny Carry (no tritium) on another. I’ve found in general the standard height front sights work just fine for SD type shooting - but do tend to print high at 25 yds. In my experience, approx 6" high. I’ve got some of the optional .245 tall front sights with one mounted on my Gen4 G17 and this brought the point of impact to exactly point of aim at 25 yards.
This is very cool . . . except that when I’m shooting speedy drills at much closer range - this setup reveals more dramatically every time I pull shots low. :o
