Looks like Wal-Mart has reversed their decision to stop selling firearms at most of their stores. It will be interesting to see how their prices are and if they will begin selling them over the internet.
When I worked for Walmart, there policy was if a rural area didnt have a market for firearms, walmart would carry them even if they didnt turn a profit from keeping them in stock.
Bout time. They finally realized how much money they were losing out on. I gotta wonder what sort of pricing pressures this will bring to the long gun industry and how it will affect the independent shops. Pitty they arent bringing back hand guns
Now if they would only make the rest of their sporting goods sections like they used to be.
Here in suburban Salt Lake (not rural) they never stopped having the shotguns, hunting type rifles, and 22 rifles. At any of the China-Marts I have been to in the SL Valley.
I’m happy they’ve realized their warm-fuzzy retard consulting team was sending them the wrong direction. I have no intention of buying a sprawl mart class firearm anyway, but it’s good to see the they as a company are reverting to just plain on wal mart.
