Wal-Mart brings guns back

Looks like Wal-Mart has reversed their decision to stop selling firearms at most of their stores. It will be interesting to see how their prices are and if they will begin selling them over the internet.

When I worked for Walmart, there policy was if a rural area didnt have a market for firearms, walmart would carry them even if they didnt turn a profit from keeping them in stock.

Bout time. They finally realized how much money they were losing out on. I gotta wonder what sort of pricing pressures this will bring to the long gun industry and how it will affect the independent shops. Pitty they arent bringing back hand guns

Now if they would only make the rest of their sporting goods sections like they used to be.

I wondered about that. The Wal-mart in the small town I work in suddenly had guns last time I stopped in there to grab some ammo for the weekend.

I thought it was odd since most of the Wal-mart stores in my area had been getting rid of the guns.

I could actually care less, since I would rather people support their local gun dealer but I found it interesting none the less.

Guns, meh. Cheap and ready source of WWB would be awesome!

There were some in my AO that never stopped selling firearms.

In CA too? I think not.

Every one in Az that I have been to never stopped selling them. Seems like decent prices too.

FUCK WALMART and the cheapass china shit they sale.

Here in suburban Salt Lake (not rural) they never stopped having the shotguns, hunting type rifles, and 22 rifles. At any of the China-Marts I have been to in the SL Valley.

I didnt know they stopped but then again I have never shopped at one. I hate them

I hate Wal Mart. Fucking dirtbag company, and they treated me like shit when I worked there.

I haven’t set foot in a Wal-Mart in over 3 years. Then selling guns again won’t change that.

I’m happy they’ve realized their warm-fuzzy retard consulting team was sending them the wrong direction. I have no intention of buying a sprawl mart class firearm anyway, but it’s good to see the they as a company are reverting to just plain on wal mart.

Local Walmart never stopped selling them.

When the dollar stores start selling guns, wallyworld is going to be screwed even more.

Overpriced Chinese junk.
