Vtac alpha rail

Hello I am not sure if I am posting in the right place but I just bought a VTAC alpha rail and I am having an issue with getting it to attach to the standard AR barrel nut.

I have a Daniel defense upper with a barrel nut I bought from BCM. I just seems like the bolts on the rail aren’t far enough back to attach to the barrel nut.

Any help would be great!

make sure the bolts aren’t too loose into the “lugs”. i found that i had to wiggle the rail quite a bit.

you aren’t going to hurt anything, mine took a bit of force. push it on.
