VLTOR VIS (Versatile Interface Structure)
The VIS offers an affordable method of combining the upper receiver to the handguard assembly thus giving the operator a solid structure.
The VIS mounts conventional barrels with the use of a special barrel nut (provide with the VIS upper receiver combo kit).
Four M1913 Picatinny rails come equipped with each system, with one of the rails being continuous at the 12 O’clock position. The lower handguard is removable in order to give access for an installation of a M203 Grenade Launcher. In addition, the lower handguard’s strength will allow it to accept a rail mounted M203 or other rail mounted weapons.
Includes forward bolt assist and shell deflector. CNC machined to exacting tolerances. More rigid and cleaner that GI upper receivers. Upper Receiver is completely assembled and machined for M4 feedramps.
Also includes M203 mounting bracket and barrel nut wrench.
