Virginia 2A crackdown

The courts won’t save us, even if they do rule in our favor. Look at the Bruen ruling- NY just said FU and doubled down on the infringement.

The SCOTUS once upheld slavery, and much later okayed Kelo. Both were obviously bullshit. That is why I do not assign infallibility to someone just because they wear a black robe. If some future SCOTUS, loaded with Lefty commies, declares my RKBA null and void (or even shy of undoing it completely) I will simply ignore it. Might require some, uh, “reapportionment” of resources but my life will go on. Maybe a little more cautious, but carry on nonetheless.

Guns & Gadgets goes over how the recent VA decree on iniversal background checks requires VA state polizei to enforce it in violation of a court order and mentions it in conjunction with the head of the VA state polizei hoping to trick future victims of va,gov’s plans to harass the people and eat out their substance.

If/when democrats get the chance I don’t believe they’ll pass on the opportunity to pack the court. The US Constitution will be of little consideration to court rulings.

The confirmation of Ketanji set the bar so low…

republicans have bitched about supreme Court decisions my entire life while always at least insinuating bad supreme Court decisions come from democrat appointees.

The problem is, the majority of sCOTUS appointees have been republican picks since 1970.

For those who genuinely think they are getting handed the shitty end of the stick by sCOTUS, you might try something other than rabidly supporting the other side of the same coin.

If they pack it, then we pack it even more. Tit for tat. I don’t care if there are 100 Justices on the SCOTUS.

Remember when you were a kid and (if you had one) your little brother and you would fight and even if you just touched his leg you got “last licks”. Well let’s make that a policy when it comes to the Democommies: we won’t stop until we get “last licks”, no matter what the issue is. I can see them packing the court, then when we try to they’ll scream “Oh for Godssake, do we really need 25 justices?” Our reply should be “No no no, you fvcks will NEVER have the last say. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander”.

And what would that something be? Support the Libertarian candidates? Maybe we can drag Ron Paul’s kooky ass back into politics!

To address your comment about Justices and who nominated them: it seems only Republican nominees become turncoats, I’ll grant you that. Demoshit nominees toe the commie line pretty well and don’t defect.

Define “we”.

If you weren’t loading lindsey graham’s bubble wand on his disney adventure earlier this year(and/or won’t be doing that on a future trip) then it isn’t likely that you will benefit from that “we” expansion of .gov.

They aren’t turncoats since nothing about them changed.

The Right, true [small “c”] conservatives, not RINO’s or charlatans. The “Anti-Liberals”.

Left-wing packed court decisions could make it very difficult for republicans to regain power, including changes to the electoral college.

Earl Warren, John Paul Stevens, David Souter. All “supposed” to be conservative, all nominated by Republicans. Eisenhower even said nominating Warren was his biggest mistake as POTUS.

Anyone that is truly against liberals is someone you express disdain for.

“Liberals” aren’t “liberal” in tne “classical” sense. They are just authoritarians who happen to want heavy handed and far reaching government administered by politicians with a little (D) suffix instread of those wanting heavy handed and far reaching .gov(R).

Changes to the Electoral College would require a Constitutional amendment. There are four ways to get a Constitutional amendment, and via SCOTUS isn’t one of them.

Conservative justices are hamstrung with the notion of remaining at least somewhat confined by constitutional meanings and boundaries. Progressive judges don’t suffer such limitations.

If you look at the three I specifically mentioned above, they went whole-hog libtard. Especially Warren; he oversaw the most liberal SCOTUS we’ve ever had.

They were conservatives.

There’s the advertising/public relations conservative to sucker in suppprt versus conservatives in action which are ultkmatelyvery similar to democrats.

How many popular gop hacks claim the US is a democracy for one easy to demonstrate example?

You haven’t been listening too well the last few years when the Demoshits spout off “Saving our democracy”. Most Republicans I’ve heard all throw out that it is a Constitutional representative republic, NOT a democracy.

So you always bad-mouth Republicans. Instead of just sitting there throwing stones, why don’t you enlighten the class what YOUR answer is? C’mon, spit it out, don’t dodge or deflect. You’ve always got a smarmy comment about Republicans and conservatives, so tell us who YOU support. (this oughta be good, lemme grab a cold beer)

”They were conservatives.” Were being the key word there.

I wasn’t around back then to observe Warren’s actions prior to getting nominated.

Going off of more recent folks, the turds usually float to the top and they were known to be turds long before becoming entrenched.
