Used Surefire Scout KL4 (M600A)

I found a surefire scout (M600A) on craigslist for $80. It looks like its had a fair bit of wear. It only includes the pressure switch (no tail cap switch).

Is that a decent deal? I know if I switch the head for the longer throw one, the price pretty much goes into the $220 range, which isn’t as enticing.

I probably only have $100 to spend on a light, so its either the old scout or a new surefire G2.

Any thoughts?

I’d get the scout. It will have more options as you’re able to upgrade. I just bought a scout body with no parts for $100, so i’d say a complete light for$ 80 is great. If you don’t want it i’ll buy it off ya.

That’s a great find. As long as it works I wouldn’t mind paying 25% of retail!

I’d only be worried that it was issued gear.
