This has been a beater upper for a year and a half or so. 14.5" BCM BFH barrel with a pinned Surefire MB556K. KAC URX III. BCM ‘blem’ upper. Will come with the fde KAC URX panels. Vltor gas block, pinned by Operationparts.com. The URX and SF MB556K were also installed/pinned by Operationparts.com. This was supposed to be a demo gun for the local PD, but I can’t put my SF can over the brake because of how Operationparts welded the brake in place. If you want to spend the time filing it down be my guest, but I’m not about to do that. The scratches on the brake are from a buddy of mine trying to file it down himself, needless to say I shouldn’t have left it with him. Upper has probably 3k through it mix of Federal ,Winchester, M855, and XM193 556.
No rear sight, no bolt carrier group, no charging handle. What you see on the upper is what you get.
The scratches pictured on the left and right side of the front picatinny rail is from a Danger Close Consulting Scout offset mount and me screwing it on too tight. Send this upper off to Joint Force Enterprises and it will look good as new. I have never had a malfunction with this upper, the barrel is mid length. Some complain about the 14.5" midlength’s short stroking, I’ve never had an issue with this one or any of my other BCM mids.
