If you could own any lower receiver you want - what would you choose?

I like a standard forged lower with a nice simple logo and regular Fire or Semi and Safe markings. So I pick KAC because I don’t own one and I think it looks cool.

I own and like Noveske both gen 1 and 2. But if Geisselle ever released their lowers for sale I’d probably pay anything for it haha and I don’t know why.
I have only two on my “Die Happy Wishlist”. In no particular order;
M231 lower - Nothing screams “I wanna go fast” like extra sheet metal to hold in pins.
Magpul China Doll - It’s on the rare side, it’s expensive and it’s goofy. I want one.

LaRue - go with the kit I bought.
Colt - I just really like the ones that say “M4 CARBINE” on them.
If the Colt is too plain to count, I’d go with KAC with the built in QD mounts and ambi controls.

Lowers I can actually buy with unlimited funds? Pre 86 transferable Colt M16A2, 3 of them.
Title 1 lowers currently available? I guess KAC, they seem the best, I’ve just never felt inclined to pay that much. A milspec lower with a Norgon Ambi and a nice short throw ambi selector is all I’ve ever needed.
I like my Colt M4 lower, because its a Colt, but its not special. I like my SMOS lower, its basically a Noveske Gen 3, however its pig heavy. I’d say may favorite lower I currently have is my milspec KAC lower. Nothing special, just from a legit company with a nice role mark and name.

I don’t really get excited about lowers the way I do about barrels. Any PROPERLY made lower will do. I do prefer a little more generous magwell flare, though.

I have a Colt that I bought via my first AR, Colt6940 “Restricted”, nothing special but its a Colt and I built a MK18 on it, so it special to me. So I get it. Sometimes the Pony is just too cool.
1.) KAC SR-15. Love the quality, and functionality. The markings look cool too…
2.) Colt M4A1. Again good quality, I like mine a lot. Love the pony roll mark. I’m a fan boy.
3.) KAC SR-25. Quality, functionality, cool markings… and made for 7.62 NATO family. What else does one need?
