UFO/UAP Is A Legit Challenge to NS

Recent declassified files and vids paint a clear picture, that the phenomena is legit. Legit what is the aspect up for debate. Our man Cappy does a solid job of summary of those recent release of vids, but more importantly and interesting, documents making it clear the gubment takes the topic seriously from a NS POV:

"For decades, UFOs were dismissed as conspiracy theories. Today, the U.S. government is releasing military footage, declassified investigations, and intelligence reports showing that unidentified objects continue to penetrate some of the world’s most sensitive airspace.

In this episode, we examine the documents, whistleblower claims, military encounters, and national security implications behind the UFO phenomenon. Whether these objects are foreign drones, sensor anomalies, or something far stranger, one fact remains: they expose serious vulnerabilities in American air defense and intelligence. This is the biggest unanswered national security mystery of the modern era."

One would have to be awfully arrogant to believe we are the only intelligent life in our VAST universe. Now have they found us in that vastness? I dunno.

For the more religiously-inclined folks, if we eventually found out that alien life did exist, why would that “shake the foundations of religion”? If one believes God created the universe, would He not have also created “them”?

I find the subject intriguing.

Pushing the safety angle makes me think of:

“The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.”

H. L. Mencken

In the 1930s I can understand the hysteria of people thinking aliens have arrived. Nearly a century and a zillion hoaxes later… I consider it a hobby/fascination and business.

It wouldn’t “shake the foundations of religion”; my relationship and belief in Jesus Christ would not change one bit. I think the people espousing that are not Christians but people looking for reasons not to believe in God. Finding out aliens “exist” (of which I am doubtful) would have zero effect on my life. Other than the government would use it as a reason to tax me more or abridge my freedom .
