Local DC news (of course state run) said that the 1-18 month old child was injured. It was just a blurb, without any follow-up. Checked Drudge, Foxnews etc and ZERO hits on the child being injured.

Everything I have seen has said the opposite.
Not only did one cop car follow her around the round about, a second did the exact same thing. As soon as I saw the second guy start to make the turn I thought of the exact Blues Brothers scene.
Love that all of the headlines I read are “Shooting in DC,” and only in fully reading the article do you learn that it’s a police shooting in DC.

Hah! Called it, earlier today I was discussing this incident with some colleagues and I made the comment “I bet she is Somalian”. Even IF the Feds link her to a known al-Shabaab cell they will not lable it as a terrorist attack. As soon as I heard that she attempted to ram a gate around the WH the first thing that popped into my head was VBIED.

In the end I’m sure they will say she was in the area for employment and due to her job being cut via the government shutdown this is another case of “work place violence”.
Not about MIL. It’s about finding the best position for your body type and weapon. I have watched the finest prone shooters in the world and the common theme has always been no common position between each shooter.
