I have no experience with this item. I am interested to see how these rails work out.
Interesting, but I question whether it’ll really return to zero given the dimensional range of various AK receivers. Also, it has no rear iron sight. At the price, I don’t see it as being better than an Ultimak.
I initially received the info on this rail from a pre-order email from JabTac which includes a rail mounted rear peep sight.
I have a friend with one and it appears to return to zero. He doesn’t knock his stuff around like I do though. It floats over the receiver cover (was able to slip a dollar bill between the rail and the receiver cover and move it around freely). It sits a tad higher than the Ultimak rail, which sucks. His model came up a little flip-up rear iron sight that reminded me of something you’d find on a Kel-Tec rifle.
Anywho, he modded it extensively so I can’t do any return to zero tests and make commentary about the factory product.
The one I linked to is a new design which completely replaces the entire top-cover assembly.

See now this is something Ive been waiting for, now I dont have to try and find another KTR-03 to go with the one I paid Nick entirely too much money for a few months ago.

How do you adjust the rear sight? It looks like the SU16 rear sight that adjusts with the screw mount.
