Does anybody have any experience with this holster? A search didn’t turn up much. Thanks.
I have one and I love it! I have the IWB variant for my H&K USP Fullsize 45. Extremely comfortable and rather concealable for the size of the firearm. I have broken the standard clip (but that was my fault as I was doing exactly what Rob suggested I don’t do as it would lead to premature failure of the clips). I’m planning on buying another Silent Thunder IWB for my 1911. Get one. Tucker Gunleather’s customer service is amazing as well.
I have two and like them a lot. Check out the “champion” version… Rob has done a great job with this line of holsters.
Thanks. I’m looking at the IWB version for my M&P 9mm. If the holster is as good as the customer service, it should be incredible. I emailed them a question last night while I was watching Saturday Night Live and, no lie, I had an answer before the show was over.
How would you rate the comfort and stability? Would you recommend this holster for all day, leave it in place carry, or is it just recommended for those days where yoiu have to take it on and off during the day? Thanks.
I’ll wear mine all day and all but forget I’m wearing it, the comfort is top-notch for where I wear mine, just behind my right kidney. I haven’t found a more comfortable holster that works for my body-type and I like many have a drawer filled with various holsters that just did pass muster. As for stability I’ve found that it is rock solid with a belt that can support carrying a 2+lb firearm all day. The key is having a good gun belt.
Awesome. Thanks very much. I have a great beltman belt, so that part’s covered.
I have a Garrity hooded holster for my P220, which is also made by Rob. Quality and Customer service are excellent. I’ll be getting a Silent Thunder for my P228, which by the way also works in my hooded holster. I have zero reservations buying anything made by Rob.
Good to hear, thanks.
ETA: I went ahead and ordered one. I really can’t say enough good things about the customer service so far. Rob has been astonishingly responsive.
