TSA like bodyscanners showing up in businesses now:

An acquaintance went to the hospital the other day to visit someone and had to walk through a device that looks like the anti-theft scanners at a Macy’s. I was the friends first phone call as they were like WTF. Based on the description I was able to figure out what it was. A quick web search showed exactly what it is. Whatever Beam they’re using penetrates clothing in small bags. More than likely a microwave radiation scanner similar to what the TSA uses.

Just a matter of time before this starts showing up at shopping malls, and everywhere else. We have known this for a while, but it looks like the technology is getting cheap enough to start putting it in.

Looks very similar to this. Walk through, and AI determines if you have something suspicious. If you do, you are stopped by security and not allowed in until you are subjected to secondary screening.

Confirmed. It was an evolv express ultra–low frequency body scanner. https://www.evolvtechnology.com/products/evolv-express

Yea, firearm scanners are gaining traction in the commercial security market.

TSA like bodyscanners showing up in businesses now:

They were always meant to.
But they were too controversial back then.
Now we’ve switched from ‘terrorism’ to ‘gun violence’ and everyone will gladly clamor for it.

Time for a line of clothing that has some kind of liner that will deflect or confuse the system.

Wouldn’t it be amazing if we could get every single gun owner in the country to boycott any business using these???

In most cases it really is as simple as not going to businesses that use this type of thing.

Any place with a metal detector now, maybe. I don’t see someplace jumping directly to this. Sports stadiums and such, and you need a “Pre-Check” to get around having to use one.

The bad news is that this only make sense if there is a wave of domestic/US terrorism. The worst news is that makes it likely for a false-flag event to get the funding rolling…

Wait until facial recognition databases are extensive enough, and with TSA and phones already using FR that should be relatively soon. Deplorables (aka low social credit scorers) won’t even make it to the bodyscanners before being turned away.

On the heels of sufficiently large FR files I’m expecting a big push to increase security cams in cities and rest stops and fueling stations along the interstates. When you can be denied food and fuel on the road …

It won’t work. The L3 PV2/PV3 that TSA uses looks for anomalies that cause waves to bounce back sooner then they should and/or fail to hit skin.

Looks like more and more purchases will be made online.

Iowa is open carry so there are actually few places I won’t shop. If they have signs I respect the signs but the places I go daily for lunch, groceries and stuff are always nice to me.

Wrong thread

Hillary would have saved us.

Not sure who is worse, the “Trump will fix everything” crowd or the “Trump ruined everything crowd.”

No, you missed the point since I posted in the wrong thread.
Those saying he will run in 24 need to shut their cake hole.
I voted against Hilary in 16 and against Burden in 20, why not let a conservative run in 24 instead of that tool?
