Hello all, I saw this stock at SHOT this year and am pretty excited about it. Uses a regular BCG and proprietary buffer. I ordered one last night and decided to go with a full size kit instead of the smaller kit. It says this stock that uses the regular BCG saves 2" off the overall length of the rifle. I was worried about buffer weight for shooting 300 blk suppressed and called Troy today. They said the weight of the proprietary buffer is between an H2 and H3. Perfect for blackout. I’ll let you all know how it is whenot it shows up.
Got it today and I stalled it. This thing is AWESOME. Compared to the old design pdw stock (garbage), this thing is incredible. Kept my regular bcg. At full extension the stock locks up very well unlike the horrible wobble all other pdw stocks have. Most importantly, it provides cheekweld. If you’re looking for a pdw stock, look no further. Doesn’t get better than this. I should also mention that there isn’t much info out there on pdw stocks and their ability to be used on a billet lower. This one provides enough space. My sbr lower is a POF billet and this stock provides room and just enough to clear the ambi bolt release when fully collapsed.
