Probably been done and done again, but I hoped maybe someone could kind of “cut to the chase”. Are any of the quality drop in triggers really military service tough, or are they mainly for plinking/competition guns. The Geissele has a great rep., but the trigger package it 's self looks prone to stoppage if any amount of dust /dirt/mud were introduced. I would like to have the best feeling trigger possible, but not at the cost of reliability.

The Giessele triggers are something you don’t have to worry about.
Geissele is certainly up to the task you have set out. ALG, sister company to Geissele offers a little bit nicer mil-spec trigger group if you can’t fork out the cash for a Geissele. That would certainly meet your requirements as well.
