Traveling with your SBR?

Do any of you take your SBR along on trips? I live in MN but we’ll be going to the Black Hills this spring and I was thinking of taking my new (unborn as of today) baby with me.

How fast does the BATF approve whatever form it is you need to complete in order to take one along? Could I put SD, MT and WY from June1 to July 25? or something like that?

It’s the 5320.20 form. If you mail it in, it’s usually 2 weeks or so. If you fax it in it typcially takes a day or two for a return fax.
