They are a legit seller, however they are not a site sponsor so you will get a lot of negative responses HERE. Keep in mind you are not allowed to bitsh if they F*** up your order or take a month to ship to you since they are not a site sponsor. I my self have bought from them before in the past, its hit or miss. I have received packages within 4 days from order to 2 months later. But as far as the product being legit, yes it is.
Just bought a Micro T-1 and Aimpoint 3x for $754 but it is Botach so you run the risk of getting back ordered and not told.
If you really want it, call Botach and make sure they have it in stock first.

This is just a heads up if it matters to you, and I can’t confirm this from personal experience. I read something somewhere, maybe TOS that Botach didn’t go through normal channels to get these. They were unused stock purchased from a foreign government or something. This is why they come in a white box instead of the normal packaging. While I doubt you would ever have a problem with them Aimpoint USA says they won’t warranty them. If you have any problems it is between you and Botach. I don’t think anyone has had any problems registering them on the Aimpoint site though.
What the hell. I just ordered one as well.
Not sure if this is the same thing but as a camera guy, I know you can purchase cameras/lenses either USA or Import. Import is cheaper (a little) and aren’t imported “correctly” so the warranty may be in question with the manufacturer if you have a problem.
Again, I’m not saying this is what they have but it sounds similar to my dealings with camera dealers. For the record, I always bought the cheaper import versions and never had an issue.

Could be grey market, but I doubt it. More likely an OEM bulk purchase. I ordered a T-1 from Larue a year ago. It didn’t even get a white box…just came loose in a plastic bag.
Botach can be a hit or miss. I bought numberous things from them in the past at great prices, but the last time I bought from them was a disappointment. Basically the item I bought wasn’t in stock, and when I tried to replace the order, the replacements aren’t in stock either (their inventory system sucks), the whole ordeal dragged on for 2 months.
Eventually they did ship part of the replacement, but the refund for the difference still hasn’t shown up on my CC yet.
If you order a popular item from them, make sure you use their stock form to check inventory first, and save yourself the grieve.
These are good to go guys. I picked one up a week or so ago. Came with a little molle pouch too.

They get negative word because ordering from them is the same as spinning a roulette wheel, not because they aren’t a site sponsor. They would not be asked to be such, and would be refused if they asked for the very reasons you mention.
I’d very much enjoy an example of any member metaphorically burned in effigy for posting a legitimate gripe about ANY vendor…after having first contacted them and giving them the opportunity to make things right or screw it up even more, prior to posting about it, as the site rules and common decency specify.
I’d particularly enjoy an example of any mod or staff member that went Vlad the Impaler on a member that had a gripe about BoCrap’s spotty-at-best delivery and customer service record and frequent lack of stock…given that that’s the rule and not the exception.
Enlighten me via PM. Typing out your rear end any more than you already have is best done out of the public eye.

The idea that an M4C member would be pinged for floating a legitimate gripe about ANY vendor, site sponsor or not, is pretty unsupportable. That any member of M4C would catch a crapstorm for a legitimate gripe about a vendor that isn’t a site sponsor because they’re not a site sponsor is preposterous.
Botach is inconsistent as hell in terms of stocking, delivering, and in terms of how they deal with customers (specifically lack of notifications RE: backorders), which is not to say that there aren’t folks who have had nothing but positive experiences with them. There are, and more power to them.
The OP, if he orders from Botach, is likely to receive what he wants, and at the price quoted…eventually.
