TN cop gets canned for lying

don’t know diddly about Cops, but I’ve talked with Guys I was in combat with and it’s not unusual to get two wildly different stories from two different people who are 100 meters apart sometimes.
Now if you are obviously telling a lie to get yourself off of the hook or to self promote, you need another job,
But not having the same story as someone else who was there is pretty common.

The cops and their body cameras aren’t 100 meters apart.

The cops’ written/oral versions of an incident adhere to a scenario that would make their actions lawful while the audio/video record shows their actions to not be lawful.
