TigerSwan 1-Day Intro Carbine Class - Jan 13, 2013 - Stedman, NC
Course Cost: $210 tuition fee (includes 8 hours instruction and a certificate of completion.)
Course Description:
This course is designed to give the student a thorough understanding of rifle marksmanship and the tactical use of the rifle/carbine. The student will quickly gain experience, confidence and increase their skill level and effectiveness with the rifle. The following areas are discussed during the course:
•Sights, zeroing considerations and techniques, external ballistics, slings, and equipment placement
•Fundamentals of rifle marksmanship
•Reloading & malfunctions drills
•Shooting positions
•Multiple target engagements
•Training mindset and methodology
Ammo Requirements: 400 rounds of carbine ammunition.
Training Schedule: Show time is 0730 with instruction starting at 8am and ending at 5pm.
Individual equipment:
•Carbine with 3 magazines
•Belt, LBE or Protective Vest with associated magazine pouches
•Knee and Elbow pads (optional)
•Weapon cleaning kit (with Oil for carbine.)
•Rain or inclement weather gear
•Eye and Ear protection (clear and shaded lens are recommended)
•Water / Snacks (we’ll take an hour lunch break around noon.)
•Hat / Gloves (carbine will get hot.)
•Sun Screen (non-greasy or water resistant recommended)
•Optical Sight for carbine (Optional, but highly recommended.)
** We recommend you wear comfortable shoes, long pants, and a long sleeve shirt that you don’t mind getting dirty.
