I was thinking of geting one because the BAD is out of my price range at the moment any pros or cons or should I just wait until I can afford the BAD thanks for your time
I have one on all my carbines, I personally like them and have had no problems therefore I have had no need to explore a different option. Below are a few threads to read up on a bit further that describe other members experiences with the Noveske STS.

I’m currently using them on 9 lowers and like them. Previous to these I was using Troy ambi-safeties, and LMT ambi-safeties prior to the Troy.
They work. BAD selectors are better, but more expensive.
I love the Noveske STS ambi safeties, they match pretty close to my SCARs.
The BAD’s are sweet, and I think they are billet manufactured…anything Noveske is legit and quality.
Works well, is pretty cheap/ affordable, and the only possible downside really is that some people don’t like the feel of polymer.
Thanks for the replies everyone I think I’m gonna grab a set
Well I just ordered it from rogtactical I’ll be sure to let you all know what I think when it comes in
Why???
There is no reason two anymore with the v7 levers. No Polymer, and no huge bulk the Noveskes have. I’ve ditched everyone of my Noveske Ambi levers for v7 and won’t ever go back. Only reason I see, is if you have a Scar fetish.
Noveske STS 60deg.- $40
V7 57deg.- $60
BAD-ASS-ST 50deg.- $80
BAD-CASS-ST 50deg.- $90
They guy’s sticking to a budget. If he’s going to spend 20 bucks more than originally intended then why not spend another 20 and get the BAD ASS ST? Add another 10 and he’s got a BAD CASS ST which is going to be hard to ever top as the GOAT. They’re all properly priced for what you get IYAM so get the one that fits the bill.
Well I received it and installed it and I l really like it, not as much as my bad ones but it’s got a nice positive on and off. A little bulky but I could get used to it all in all I’m satisfied
So you already had a BAD on another boomstick?
Riiiiight. You will probably burn in hell just for having polymer on your carbine.
Peddle it someplace else.
My thoughts exactly. Three of my lowers used to wear them but I swapped them out for BAD-ASSes because the polymer just made them feel a little… cheap… I figure I’ll hold onto them until I decide to do an ultra-lightweight derp build. Functionally, they’re awesome. They’re affordable and are easier to install than the BASS-ASS-STs (no lawyer pin).
I’ve personally been digging the V7 57 degree… light, metal, relatively inexpensive… I put them in my last two builds.
The BAD AS would be my top choice, but the STS works, and I have had zero issues or complaints with it.
yes i have them on two others and they are by far my favorite but I’m trying to get this build going on a little budget so if i save a lil here and there i can be sure to not skimp on bcg and upper
