Okay, it’s time to start another build! I want to do one that supports the
sponsors of M4C so after sitting down and creating a couple of ‘wish list’ here’s
what I’ve come up with:
POF Billet lower
Stag/CMT lower parts kit
VLTOR Carbine Buttstock
VLTOR MUR upper receiver
BCM Mid-length barrel Assy.
DD 9.0 Lite rail
Stag/CMT BCG (unless the BCM BCGs are ready)
EoTech 553
Tango down rail panels, vert grip and pistol grip
Troy BUIS
Now I know the BCM uppers won’t be available until Q1 so I’ll work on getting
the POF lower assy built up and save for the upper, middy and rail in the
meantime. What do you guys think?
The MUR is sweet but I think I would go with a VIS instead just because the monlith is sweeter and I don’t own one…yet. I would probably go with an Eotech 552 here is my “top3” reasons why:
1.) It has been around longer than the 553, tried and true IMHO.
2.) You aren’t stuck with an A.R.M.S. mount…larue would be my choice.
3.) 30 AA’s are about the same price as 4 123’s and easier to find.
Anyway, your list sounds pretty f’ing nice and as always- if you decide to build it, make sure to post the pics ASAP.
Sounds state of the art. Waiting to get what you want, instead of what is currently available, is the way to go. I am sure you have a carbine to use in the meantime.
I did not even know that B.C.M. was coming out with their own B.C.G… Was there a thread on that?
No Magpul stuff? I guess it is all a matter of personal preference.

7. TA31F ACOG or maybe a S&B–> (never had the pleasure of using one)
8. KAC Panels
9. undecided on BUIS
