Thorntail on top rail behind FSB

If I mount a Thorntail on the top rail behind a front sight base, will the arm be able to get around the FSB? The top rail is the same level as a flat top upper.

I’ve seen a couple of pics online like this, but I can’t tell if the FSB has been filed down or notched to make it work.

I works just fine. It rides very close but is not an issue.

Thanks Rodman. I tried looking down the rail on my upper, but it’s too close to say for sure.
