Yes, My family came to America in waves and the further back you go in geneology the more embarassing and confusing things can get.
It would seem that in my Family if someone was pregnant and unwed, the child would be adopted within the extended Family and everyone would continue as if nothing happened.
I don’t see why the Jeffersons or their Slaves would be any different.

Hemmings was a half sister to Martha Jefferson and Hemmings Mom was a 1/2 black & 1/2 white slave and was brought up to be genteel.
So there is the possibility that Thomas Jefferson was attracted to a woman that may have looked and acted a lot like his deceased wife.
Or
There is the possibilty of a similar attraction to Hemings from his less refined younger brother.
It does seem to have to be 1 of the 2 brothers, but which one seems to still be up for debate.
Thats kind of Assuming that Thomas Jefferssons Father didn’t have an unknown Illegitimate Son isn’t it?

I have not watched the video, however Jefferson is my favorite President. When he was in Paris, Sally was with him and it was very well documented that due to a different attitude in France they acted like a couple that were romantically involved with each other.
France was also color bling in WW1 and black American soldiers could go into French bars and drink. Which is how the love of hennessey was born in the American black community.

Only DNA has the answer to the question of their relationship.
