By inexpensive, I mean in terms of the US national debt or the space shuttle budget :slight_smile:

Allows for passive NV shooting and thermal. Zeroed at 100y for 75gr GDHPs. Groups about 1.5” but that’s only due to me not being able to find something hot that is smaller to get a better aiming point. A hand warmer folded in half stapled to a target seems to be the best way. Tried the bottom of a coke can, ice cubes, etc but they’re not as easy.

Lowdown3 at JRH was great to deal with. This is my first thermal scope and it’s insane how much stuff you miss if all you have is nightvision. I have killed so many armadillos with it already.

Night vision is an incredible super power but Thermals up the game considerably.

You could use warmed up water balloons kept in a cooler with heat packs as targets as well.

Hand warmers is what I usually use to zero, always seemed to work well and a good way to rotate older ones.
