Any reviews on this item? Im playing around with one (a friend left it with me).
Looks and feels solid. I like the fact that it’s plastic–wont scratch both my rail and my flashlight.
Curious to see if anyone has any experience with this mount and how well it holds up to torture.
absolute garbage. it rattles. won’t lock securely to the rail.
try this instead…its plastic, or nylon or whatever, but at least its secure.

only $20 and i’m sure Viking Tactics will stand behind it. I’m not really sure about TDI’s CS. i think most people just throw away TDI “gear” when it invariably falls off or breaks…so i don’t think there’s too many CS stories positive or negative. who’s going to really bother?
seriously, stay away from TDI, Fobus, First Samco & CAA
its all trash
the only decent polymer Israeli gear is the LULA and the TMC “Tactical Mag Clip”

i learned about that product the hard way, by wasting money on one myself.
i’d rather not have people repeat my mistakes. i make more than my fair share.
its possible i just got a bad one. have you mounted it on a rail yet?
my one just rattled like crazy. i got sick of it and threw it in the trash. i mainly use the TLR-1s now, so i dont really need a mount anymore.
Ya, its mounted at the moment. Feels pretty solid. Takes a bit of a pull even to get it in the right spot.
I know two other guys who have them on their rifles and are pretty happy with theirs but neither of them really do any serious drills, thus, have no real basis on the side of actual durability.
What rail did you mount yours on? Im using a KAC RAS and one of the guys mounted his on a Bushy rail.
Im now considering other types of mounts (for my Surefire G2 LED) regardless of material. Something similar in simplicity like KAC or Vltor. What do you think?
I second the VTAC as it puts my weaponlight at 11 o’clock which is the perfect position for me. I own a couple of the TGI’s also but don’t care for them as they are heavy and huge compared to a VTAC. YMMV!

mine was on a GG&G offset mount w/1913 attachment rail and a couple years later i tried it out on a DD Omega
in both instances it rattled.
glad your friends’ ones seem lock up better than mine. maybe mine was just an especially crappy specimen.
i’d still recommend the VTAC. might not be the fastest on and off, but its secure and the price is right.
