Tavor Canted Front Sight

Hey all,

So I picked up a Tavor today and I’m very excited to try it out. I was looking it over and realized that the front iron sight is slightly canted to the side, which you can see because it is part of the rails.

Does anyone know how this can be fixed??

Thanks guys!!

It seems like most of the TAVORs have been sighted in prior to being shipped. Mine was dead on when I used the irons. I would suggest to take it to the range, set up a 50 yard target, and give it a try.

I can’t tell much from the picture.

However, do what Renegade suggested. Shoot it. If it’s off, and you can’t adjust to get a zero, then worry.

I’m referring to the way that the rail segment attached to the sight post is tilted, and doesn’t line up with the rest of the rail.

If mine came like that I would have contacted IWI about it. Send them the pic. Would be easy to swap out. They will likely send another sight. Even though it probably would function fine, it would bug me and I would want it correct.

I think I’ll do just that, thank you very much.

I forgot to ask…does yours have the tritium insert?

It does
I really like the sights, the tritium insert shows up great
