The Borro does appear to be nice, but it doesn’t have all the same features as the TD does and is the same price.
Wait till your buddies knock off breaks and then ask them how good an idea it is. Not to mention that buying a China made knock off says volumes about someone.

They might get lead poisoning for the cheap price.
TD has great CS to say the least they sent me a replacement for a broken VFG no questions asked after seeing the broken grip.

I should also add that out of the TD VFG’s I have sold this is the only one that has failed.
I had to beat my TD vert grip onto my YHM rail, but needless to say it’s rock solid! I really like the way that the Bobro can be moved w/o removing anything else from the rail, but the ergonomics are off. It’s too thin, and the base has too many sharp edges where it meets the actual grip. Same situation with the grip pod which I no longer use either. Anyone have any feedback on the fit of the TD grip on a SF rail? Or a GG&G?
I first had my TD VFG on a SF rail and had to hammer it on…maybe that’s why it’s a little loose on my LMT MRP upper? Who knows?
The roll pin solution is s good fix if this wiggle bothers anyone. I’m especially anal about things being tight, and although it didn’t get rid of 100% of the wiggle…it’s pretty darn close.
I was concerned about the roll pins backing out, but I have around 500 rounds on the gun since installing them, and I can’t see ANY movement of the pins.
The attributes of the TD VFG far outway the “Wiggle Issue” in my mind.

SF rails tend to vary in the dimensions. So you might get one that is tight and the next one is loose.

Grant is right on all points made here. Its called ‘tolerance stacking’. Its not going to turn you into a bad shooter, don’t lose any sleep over it.
