This is my rig. I haven’t spent much time with it yet because of ammo prices, distance to where I shoot, and I’ve been waiting on a holster for my G34 w/ light. I am leaning towards adding another shingle to the leg panel. I’m a bit overboard on pistol mags too, I think.
-Eagle duty belt and belt pad
-Eagle triple FB G17 mag pouch
-HSGI Modular drop leg panel. Swapped the fixed hanger for the QD hanger.
-Tactical Tailor single mag shingles (2 for now)
-Eagle single FB M4 mag pouch
-CSM Gear drop pouch
-HSGI universal drop platform w/ Safariland 6280 (MIA at the moment). Swapped the QD hanger for the fixed hanger to raise it up on my hip instead of down on my thigh.
-Eagle double FB G17 mag pouch
I’ve enjoyed my HSGI Wasatch. I’m running it with Diamondback Tactical level IIIa soft armor inserts behind Ceradyne level III++ multi-hit plates. It’s a quality set up, but it does tend to sag in the front a bit.
I’m considering trying out a Spartan II or Centurian.
Anyway here’s a few picks from a Tac Carbine/SWAT class that I was fortunate enough to be invited to attend last week.
In the time I’ve spent on this site this evening, I’ve come to a realization: all my gun and gear pics suck. A lot.
The harness is an SOTech Hellcat Mk 1, the pack is an ATS Cobra pack
Those G-code mag holders look great. Get to use them out on the range or anything yet? Interested to see how they hold up. Can definitely see a use for those.
I’ve been using the g code single pistol mag holder for work (dectective). It’s great. I’ve used blackhawk, Raven, and no name brand holsters before and the g-code is far superior. It’s slick and does not get caught on my clothing when I draw the mag. It’s easy to take off and add on for times when I have to kit down. I wish they made the paddle style for their m4 mag holder. Got my single pistol mag holder for about $22 which is MUCH better than the Raven holder.
