In another thread, GlockWRX asked if we had planned an X300 mount. Honestly, at that point we hadn’t. However, if there is enough
demand, we would definitely consider it. That said, I mocked this up real quick.
I don’t have a X300 handy, but I will pick one up tomorrow locally. I will need to take some measurements to make sure clearances
are spot on. After that I will cut some samples for T&E.
GlockWRX, if you have an X300, I can get a T&E sample of to your for testing. Just shoot me an IM with your contact and shipping info.
Like gotM4 said, the most ideal solution would be to replace the mounting hardware on the X300 similar to what was done on the Scout Mount you did. However, the version you show above could have the additional advantage of being used for an MRDS or a T-1 (I think).
Anyway, I look forward to seeing what you guys come up with.

Agreed, however, I do not have one in the office. Tomorrow I will pick one up and see what there is to work with.

Indeed. Assuming the X300 mount can be made to be utilized without its pre-existing base, I will simply take the above model and optimize it for a 45° offset optic mount.
I was just fiddling with my X300 and noticed a few things.
If you go with a bolted platform concept ala your Scout Mount you will have to offset the light quite a bit to allow for the battery door to swing open.
If you stick with a rail like you initially proposed, the light can be dismounted to replace the batteries. This is what I have to do currently with it mounted ahead of my front sight.
I’m sure you’ll see all of this once you have one in hand.
I like the rail version too. I’d actually like to see just one slot like the Streamlight rail or the MI FSB mount. I like how easily the light goes on both of those mounts without extra slots to get in the way.
Agreed. And this is most likely they way we will approach this.
Since the market size of X300 users is largely unknown ( at least to me ), it
wouldn’t make sense to make a dedicated base interface. Versatility is key on
this component. Last thing a manufacturer wants is a large quantity of unsold
parts due to small market size.
That said, the offset rail makes the most sense. It could be used for an X300 / 400
as well as TLR-1/2 and a myriad of MRD’s etc…
Do you think this would work with a Troy Rail & Troy flip up front sight? (and Magpul AFG) I am very interested in both this and the scoutlight mount you have coming out. I like my SF lights but I want them at 1:30 NOT 12 or 3.

Any update on the release date or time frame for the X200/X300 mounts
They got pushed back while we ramped up production of our GS-3120 ( Scout Mount ). Scout Mounts are due in next week. That said, I should have first samples of our GS-3140 X2/300 mounts in hand before the end of the week.
