For mounted machine guns. Not rifle.![]()
That’s true. I want one (although impractical) on my patrol rifle…
Based on the catalog dimensions, and looking at it’s picture the X300 Compact is really a X300 Slim as someone else put it. It’s slightly shorter, but not short enough to fit on the shorter rail like on a M&P Compact or a P2000SK.
Yeah, I don’t see the point. Even X300 is not that bulky at all.
I know how much they like R123 batteries, but I was expecting real compact one like Stremlights.
I remember something about people complaining about Surefire because a lot of what they showed last year never came out? ![]()
Of course they come out with a new one. I just bought two.
I don’t get the purpose of the one battery x300?
Well, with only 1 battery you eliminate the problem of reverse charging unequal cells…
Is the X300c a solution looking for a problem? The X300 is fine as it is and diminishing it’s capabilities for slimness may not be the way to go.
I suspect that at least part of the “point” of the X300c is that the narrower body would theoretically allow a thinner holster at the trigger guard area, which would help eliminate or reduce the abiliy to press the trigger while the gun is holstered that is present on most weaponlight holsters today. I’m not saying that this is a “serious issue”, but it is one that I have seen brought up.
The x300c will fit the hk45c. That makes me happy.
