Summer TV

So aside from the Walking Dead spinoff anyone have summer shows that they are planning to DVR and follow??

Game of Thrones…

True Detective and The Strain

Starts on Sunday…F#$% Ya!

To hell with everything else - Strike Back returns to Cinemax this summer!

The first episode of life below zero new season came on tonight. It’s a decent show.

True Detective is my favorite show currently on talk about being on a whole other level, can’t wait to see what Nic Pizzolatto has in store for season two.

Game of Thrones + StrikeBack /thread

I’ve been watching Strike Back during xfinity watchathon where everything is available on On Demand. It’s really good.

What trips me up is the American guy is played by an Aussie and the Brit is played by an American, but the American actor pulls off a better British accent than the Aussie does of an American accent…

The American playing the Brit is actually half-Brit, and went to school for a while in England.

I totally forgot about strike back. Will have to check out True Detective.

Strike Back returns to Cinemax on July 31st.

And Nina’s back with Section 20…

Longmire has been a good series. Not sure when the new season starts.

Check out The Killing on Netflix, great show.

Homeland-returns in the fall

Walking Dead-returns in the fall

UK Top Gear canceled.

Watch very little prime time TV during the summer. Hopefully this new Walking Dead spin off will be interesting. Maybe we’ll see a few bullet buttons cause for some interesting zombie hoard complications.

Also think what you might and it started off kinda slow and kid like but Star Wars Rebels is fantastic. Season 2 begins in June I believe.

Just got notice from Netflix that season 3 is available.

I read this post and resided to give Strike Back a look. The first three seasons are available On-demand. I watched the first one and liked it.

Now here is my question. Is there two separate series? There is the first one with Andrew Lincoln and then a second one with the American and British guy?

The one with Andrew Lincoln was the original one. After only 6 episodes he hit it big with Walking dead and left, around the same time Richard Richard Armitage left to play Thorin in the Hobbit. No lead actors, the British show was canceled. Cinamax picked up the premise and ran with it. You can watch the British episodes as StrikeBack Origin.

Thanks. That makes more sense now. I was all kinds of lost with the plot line…

Most of Season One of Rebels is available for free streaming right now in honor of “Star Wars Day” on starwars.com.
